Ham Awry Improve Troupe performs regularly throughout the Metro Vancouver and Fraser Valley of British Columbia, Canada. Whether it be short form or long form improv, corporate or public, free shows, fundraisers or our regular performances, Ham Awry always brings their best. We could not do any of it without our venues, clients and you, the audience.
ACTING UP!
ACTING UP! is our short form improv show regularly performed at the ACT as part of their Cafe ACT After Hours series. Based on your suggestions, the cast plays out short scenes using all your favorite short form games. The result is unrehearsed comedy at its finest!

Fools Duel - Armageddon at the ACT! Proudly presented by the ACT and Ham Awry Improv, ARMEGEDDON will bring an end to the long cold war between the neighbouring comedy groups. This epic encounter will collide on stage in a war that will finally answer the question...WHO HAS THE BIGGER BOMBS?! ULTIMATE IMPROV CHAMPIONSHIP 2 - Fools Duel! Ham Awry Improv proudly presents an improv comedy showdown of epic proportions. On April Fools' Day, two improv troupes from opposite sides of Metro Vancouver will begin an epic battle. Maple Ridge’s Ham Awry Improv will meet Richmond’s Tickle Me Pickle and battle it out on stage for FUNNY SUPERIORITY! GET PORKED! was our short form improv show regularly performed at the Beast Public House (in the Maple Ridge Best Western). Small scenes are made up on the spot from audience suggestions in the style many may remember from the hit ABC television show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” hosted by Drew Carey. This is not your Family show, mature themes are expected.
“The Beast Public House” is Maple Ridge's newest watering hole. It's intimate environment and neighbourhood feel make it the perfect place for improv comedy. PICKLED PIGS PRESTIGIOUS PUB NIGHT!
The Emerald Pig held a raffle, 50/50 draw and other fundraising games. The Legion provided a live band to entertain and Ham Awry provided face passed and hugely funny improv. "Pickled Pigs Prestigious Pub Night" always puts the FUN in FUNdraising! It is Emerald Pig Theatrical Society's BIGGEST and BEST Fundraiser! For the low, low price of $20, guests received a drink of their choice, a full dinner prepared by the wonderful kitchen at the Legion, and all the fun that can possibly come from socializing with a large group of theatre folks.

Ham Awry performed multiple sets at the first ever “Come Together” event. It was an entertaining evening full of surprises! Over 25 acts were part of an inspiring event for adults by adults designed to get people away from the TV for a guaranteed night of cheers, fun and lots of laughter. All profits went to Share Family and Community Services.

FOOLS FOR THE CURE!
FOOLS FOR THE CURE! was our April Fools improv fundraiser. Our friend Frances got the idea that she was going to enter a marathon to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The least we could do was help her raise some money! On April 4th, at the Cambrian Hall in
“Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training” is the world's largest endurance sports training program. The program provides training to run or walk marathons and half marathons or participate in triathlons and century (100-mile) bike rides. Since 1988, more than 360,000 volunteer participants have helped raise more than $850 million!
On June 21 Frances will be walking 42KM on Alaskan trails raising funds to provide patient services and research for people who have leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma. She is completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. Help us help them cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

HOOPS'N HOAGIES!
"Hoops'n Hoagies!" is an annual basketball tournament at the Kits Community Centre and each year it is bigger and better than the last! Teams square off on the court in hopes of winning the highly sought after Hoops’n Hoagies Trophy. Guys and Girls create their our KCC team and participate in the a round robyn Basketball Tournament. After the tournament, there is always food, prizes and great participation gifts. It is a free event to participate in as well as be a spectator.On February 22, Ham Awry Improv Troupe was proud to provide a quality half time improv show for the audience and players.
